🪷 A Note from Our Founder
Hullo, friends.
Once upon a time, I had to replace almost everything I owned.
To be clear, I’m still replacing things. But somewhere along the way, I learned something unexpected: having less isn’t always the thing we should be afraid of.
Sometimes the heavier thing is holding on.
We keep clothes that no longer fit our bodies or our style. Things that are worn out. Things tied to a version of ourselves we no longer recognize. Sometimes we keep them because we feel guilty about being wasteful. Sometimes, because we once loved them. And sometimes simply because letting go feels like admitting that a chapter is really over.
These days, when I feel that little twinge about getting rid of something, I ask myself why.
If it’s guilt, maybe I can donate it and let it be useful to someone else. If it’s worn out, I can thank it for doing its job and replace it when I’m ready. If it’s sentimental, maybe the memory can live in a photograph, a keepsake box, or something repurposed into a piece I’ll actually treasure.
There are things I will always keep. Kenna’s things are different. They belong to love, not clutter.
Most of what surrounds me now feels lighter because it belongs to the life I’m actually living, or the one I’m building next.
I don’t think we need to be afraid of unused space.
Sometimes, that space is where the future lands.

Rereading The Game of Life and How to Play It. AND I’m reading it aloud. On the patio. In the morning. 💖 (Find it on Amazon).
🎬 What I’m Watching
In college, I read Le Morte d’Arthur, written in Middle English. I’ve been obsessed with all retellings since. And Amazon Prime has a new series: Rise of the Merlin. (Check out The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin HERE.)

I stumbled over this Dollar Tree Closet Organization Reel and now I’m obsessed. (Check out Ashley Nicole Life HERE.)

🪷 The 7-Day Home Reset
Simple changes for a cozy home.
Day 1: Clear the visible surfaces.
Counters, coffee tables, end tables, nightstands, dressers. Put away what belongs elsewhere, toss trash, and leave a little breathing room.
Day 2: Reset your closet.
Pull clothes out, sort into wear/donate/sell/toss piles, and then put back only what earns the space. I did this. And I made so much room in my closet. Not sure where to sell? Try Vinted.

Then I replaced my plastic hangers with blush velvet hangers. I had no idea this was a thing, and then when I realized how well they grip the clothes…I was sold!
Day 3: Tackle the drawers.
Pick the kitchen junk drawer, bathroom drawer, dresser, or any drawers currently requiring archaeological equipment. My desk drawers are still a nightmare because I haven’t purchased the drawer organizers. I only have the energy to do this once. And so I do it…all at once.
Day 4: Go under the sinks.
Bathroom and/or kitchen. Toss expired products, consolidate duplicates, and group what remains into simple categories. And if you have cavernous openings and want to make better use of your space, these are my favorite bathroom cabinet organizers.

And I keep the bulk of my cleaning supplies in a caddy for easier cleaning. Find a similar one here.
Sold as a 3 pack. The bottom pulls out like a drawer.
Day 5: Reset the pantry.
Expired food out, like-with-like together, and make the things you actually use easy to reach. I didn’t plan to have an aesthetic pantry, but between wire shelving and pests, I locked up my food. Zero regrets. (Plus open stuff stays fresh longer.)
Day 6: Clean out the refrigerator.
One full reset or, if energy is low, shelves and drawers one at a time. Toss mystery containers before they develop voting rights. And…if you’re tired of clean-up. Get fridge organizers. I have some for sodas and some for meats to prevent potential leaks.
Day 7: Fix your landing zone.
Mail, keys, bags, shoes, chargers, whatever tends to pile up when people walk in the door. I added a console table with a lamp. Suddenly, my entryway made sense and everything had a place.

A Gentle Reminder
You don’t have to do these seven days in a row. You don’t even have to do them in order.
Pick one space. Start there. Then tackle another when you have the time, energy, or motivation.
Decluttering your home doesn’t have to become another project you pressure yourself to finish. One drawer, one shelf, one corner at a time still counts.
Your home didn’t become cluttered in a day, and it doesn’t need to become peaceful in one either. 💗
